Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how All In and Broke ("All In and Broke," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit allinandbroke.com (the "Site"), purchase our products, or join our private community. We take your privacy seriously — particularly because of the sensitive nature of the subject we work in. By using the Site or our services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who We Are
All In and Broke is a digital publishing and peer-support brand focused on gambling-addiction recovery, created under the pseudonym "Marcus Reed." We sell digital products (a memoir, a recovery workbook, and an audiobook) and operate a private, subscription-based peer community on Telegram. You can reach us at any time at hello@allinandbroke.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Order information: your name and email address when you purchase.
- Payment information: card and billing details are entered directly into our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles it under PCI-DSS standards.
- Community information: if you join the Telegram community, your chosen Telegram username and any messages, check-ins, or content you share there.
- Correspondence: the contents of any email or contact-form message you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data: standard analytics such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring source, and approximate location (city/region/country).
- Cookies: small files used for essential site functionality and basic, privacy-respecting analytics (see Section 7).
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process your order and deliver your digital products and community access
- To send your activation link, your purchased files, and order-related communication
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and the community
- To respond to your questions and support requests
- To manage your subscription, including renewals and cancellations
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
- To comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver what you bought), legitimate interests (to run and protect our business), consent (where required, e.g. certain cookies — you may withdraw consent at any time), and legal obligation (e.g. tax and accounting records).
5. How We Share Information
We share the minimum information necessary with trusted service providers who help us operate, and only for that purpose:
- Shopify — hosting of our storefront
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Telegram — the community platform
- Our application host — the software that issues your access and sends your files
Each provider maintains its own privacy and security practices. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or others. If our business is ever transferred, your information may be part of that transfer, subject to this policy.
6. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 9).
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use a minimal set of cookies: those strictly necessary for the Site to function (e.g. checkout and security) and basic analytics provided by our platform. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect how the Site works.
8. International Data Transfers
We operate globally and our providers may process your information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information when it is transferred.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; receive a copy of your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent. Residents of the EU/UK (GDPR) and of California and similar US states (CCPA/CPRA) have these or equivalent rights, including the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising them.
To exercise any right, email hello@allinandbroke.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity first.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, reputable processors, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any issue.
11. Age Requirement
Our products and community are intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page; your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
